Flesh bent and unwinding-
Flourish is an exhibition of new ideas in progress by Camara Taylor, with a sound work made in collaboration with DJ and promoter Sarra Wild (OH141).
The work stems from a sprawling body of research that is now being understood within a framework of practicing refusal and (perhaps) an engagement with tidalectics, as termed by Kamau Braithwaite.
Camara Taylor is a burnt out artist and programmer based in Glasgow. They are also a Committee Member at Transmission Gallery.
Sarra Wild is a DJ and promoter who runs OH141, co-organises Grassroots Glasgow and is driven by the desire to create clubbing environments where marginalised folk feel comfortable and represented.
