Kate Holford
Building Manager

Kate joined Many Studios as the Building Manager in February 2023. She oversees the studio membership, building maintenance, hires, and communications. She is thrilled to support the creative community at Many, and to be embedded in the physicality of the building and its position in Glasgow’s east end. She has previously worked in a number of curatorial and community-focused roles, including as Art Director of Stillpoint Magazine.

Outside of Many Studios, Kate practices as an artist and writer.

Kate’s normal working hours are:
Monday, Wednesday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Racheal Smith
Administrator

Racheal started at Many Studios in the role of Administrator in May 2023, overseeing our finances, administration and supporting Kate in her Building Manager role. Racheal has a background working in the community sector in Glasgow, with experience in Grassroots activism.

Outside of Many Studios, Racheal volunteers with Soul Food Sisters and other community projects.

Racheal’s normal working hours are:
Monday and Tuesday, 9am - 5pm

Marc Cairns
Director

Marc provides crucial support to the organisation drawing on his experience in defining and delivering key research projects for cultural organisations, local authorities and art projects in the public realm.

In his day job, Marc is Managing Director at New Practice.

Natalia Palombo
Director

Natalia was the Managing Director of Many Studios from 2015-2021. In this iteration of her role, Natalia is interested in contributing to a new phase for Many Studios, working with the new team to understand the organisation’s place in Glasgow and its capacity as a long-running creative business, providing quality workspace while engaging socially and cultural with the city.

Natalia is Director of Deveron Projects, a socially-engaged arts organisation in North East Scotland.

Becca Thomas
Director

Becca shares her invaluable experience in business operations and financial management to ensure the smooth-running of the organisation.

During the day, Becca is Creative Director & Architect at New Practice, she brings this experience to supporting our Building Manager with maintenance and future planning for our creative hub.
